Kiwi Pollen is a family run business that has been operating since 1989. Over our busy season, employees will pick male flowers and mill the pollen to be applied on fruiting orchards for optimal pollination. We are experts in the pollen world and know that our staff are a valued investment in our organisation.

Minimum requirements
A New Zealand work/holiday Visa valid for the entire work period
A New Zealand bank account number and IRD Number
Full availability for the full month of November, working up to 6 days in a row

Things to note
Normal work hours in the orchard are 7:30am-5pm, and in the mill are 10am-8pm or 12pm-10pm.
All staff will be expected to work up to 6 days in a row and flower picking and mill operations may be postponed in rain conditions.
We will train staff to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge required. Management are available and happy to discuss any concerns or answer questions.

Flower Picker
Join our team as a flower picker, where you will play a vital role in harvesting premium male flowers from kiwifruit orchards. Your main tasks include selecting and picking flowers according to set standards. An attention to detail and being a great team player is essential.

Mill Operator
A physical job operating our bespoke mill, processing male kiwifruit flowers to extract the pollen. Need to be willing and able to lift heavy weights and have a good level of fitness.

Lab and Pollen Stock Manager
Responsible for pollen testing, inventory packing & management, overseeing flower reception and liaising with customers to advise on our products.
